Planning Center integration
- Churches connect through Planning Center's official, secure sign-in. We never see, ask for, or store your Planning Center password.
- Connection credentials are encrypted and kept only on our secure servers, never in your browser.
Read-only access
- We only request read permission for the Planning Center products your church chooses.
- Ministry Lens never creates, edits, merges, or deletes anything in your church database.
What we store
- Churchwide counts, attendance numbers, and trends.
- For Care Opportunities, Serving Leads, and the Duplicate Detector, we store Planning Center ID numbers and follow-up statuses. Names, emails, and phone numbers are looked up live when an authorized leader opens the page, and are not saved.
- Attendance or milestone spreadsheets you upload are used only to save the records you confirm.
Financial privacy
- Giving is protected by a separate permission. Only people the church owner grants finance access can see it.
- Giving views show totals and trends, never individual gift receipts.
Who can see your information
- Only members of your church's Ministry Lens account. Owners and admins decide who has access.
- Each church's data is kept separate. No church can see another church's records.
No selling, no AI training
- We never sell your church's data to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else.
- We do not use your church's records or notes to train public AI models.
Payments
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never store full card numbers.
Contact requests and marketing
- When you contact us, we use your name, email, and church only to reply and help with your account.
- We only send marketing updates if you tick the separate, unchecked box, and every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
Deleting your data
- If your church leaves Ministry Lens, you can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
The demo
- The public demo uses fictional sample data only. Nothing you do there reaches a real church or Planning Center.
